Tip of the Week: Make Your Videos Clickable with Chaptering
By WellcomeMat on Aug 10, 2008 in Tip of the Week
This week we’re going to talk about how you can power your videos with WellcomeMat’s video chaptering. Why should you care? With an infinite amount of places to go online (i.e. you can click right now and be off surfing for something else), just because a viewer clicks the ‘PLAY’ button does not mean they’re going to watch your entire video. WellcomeMat’s chaptering tool let’s you spotlight specific sections of your video. Use the tool and viewers can click on scenes and jump right to any portion of the video (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, etc.) you’ve highlighted. This effectively gives you more opportunity to attract viewers with different interests and motivations.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to Make Your Videos Clickable with Chaptering:

Great tip and I can’t wait to add chapters to my videos.
But that is the first time I’ve watched that wacky annoying guy…. You all need to dump that computer voice. It’s hard to listen too and really corny… and not in a good way.
I know, I know, I hate my image and I hate my voice, I sound like a 10 year old kid - so I know why you did it. But… eeek…. You need to just get someone HOT to do those video tips.

Lexie, you broke my heart today. But perhaps you’re right. I just need to find a Mat Girl to help us out with the next tutorial. She’s out there somewhere!
