Real Estate Video Where it Counts

WellcomeMat members, you can now track your audience web wide! Wherever you place your real estate video tour or local business ad (blog, website, listing, etc.), it counts… literally. Video views represents an aggregate amount, the sum total of all video impressions watched online. Add a home video tour into your listings. Post your property video to a blog. Place your video on MySpace. Anywhere you want and watch the clicks pile up. Grab the new WellcomeMat video player and see for yourself.

Here’s an example:

A Wellcome Disclaimer
You’ll notice many sites count page views as video views. Here at the Mat, we’ve decided to ONLY count ‘views’ as actual video views NOT page views. To clarify, that means physically clicking the play button and starting the video. Why? We understand that selling/renting property is not a popularity contest. While yes, maybe WellcomeMat looks good when a video is viewed a 1,000 times. It does YOU no good. In fact, it’s misleading. Besides, what good is it if 100,000 people saw the property if not one of them is interested in buying/renting it?

Now we realize this statement might seem counterintuitive to the aforementioned news about placing the player everywhere and watching clicks pile up. It’s not. We’re simply advocating for you to place the video where you want. You know your customers and where to market your property better than we do. We just want you to have accurate information.

Now you have it.
